- Communications and presence. You can present yourself and your content effectively through slide decks, emails, memos, and vocal communications. You can engage comfortably with consultants and operations staff.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics.
- At least 10 years of work experience in an editing and communications role in journalism, corporate communications, media, ideally in the development sector, or a relevant industry. Compensation will be commensurate to experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW
As Senior Communications Associate, you will work closely with the Global Strategic Communications team and other teams at Dalberg and will report to the Global Strategic Communications Manager. Your role will entail the following:
Social Media Management:
• Content Strategy & Creation
- Benchmark Dalberg against competitors and emerging social media trends to develop new formats, and work with the team to create best practices to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of digital communication.
- Grow our social media following with a targeted growth of 33% YoY growth in followers.
- Create and curate engaging content for Dalberg’s global social media channels.
- Plan and execute integrated communication campaigns for high-visibility global days of importance, international events, and global hiring programs.
• Community management
- Monitor online conversations and proactively address any issues, concerns, or brand risks.
Editorial pipeline development & management
- Work with project teams and regional communications teams to maintain a pipeline of relevant content that receives high engagement online.
- Assist the Manager in the development of new processes to execute social media objectives as outlined in the strategy.
- Write and edit social media content and work with designers to develop high-quality and appropriate visuals.
- Manage the Dalberg social media calendar ensuring a consistent flow of posts spread across global time zones and oversee the prioritization of day-to-day tasks to ensure a balance of regions and topics showcased on Dalberg’s channels.
- Track global events, report launches, and media mentions populating the editorial pipeline.

Website Management
- Oversee the Dalberg website, ensuring it is regularly updated and serves as an effective communication platform.
- Monitor quarterly website analytics, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance user engagement.
- Propose and develop new features on Dalberg.com to meet the team’s KPIs.
- Improve the ranking of specific pages on Dalberg.com by implementing more SEO-friendly features.
- Write and edit website content and work with designers to create high-quality and appropriate visuals.
Internal Communications & Culture
- Assist the Manager in developing the organization’s internal culture, e.g. through the production of newsletters, ensuring timely and engaging content.
- This will include engaging with HR, managing a monthly global call, and other culture-building initiatives.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze monthly social media and website performance metrics, make data-driven recommendations for optimization, and create dashboards to be reviewed by internal stakeholders.
Brand Stewardship
- Collaborate with and advise global teams to ensure brand integrity in all external communications.
