KNOWLEDGE & COMMUNICATION PRODUCTS CONSULTANCY
Power to You(th) invites visionary consultants to amplify the voices of adolescent girls and young women through innovative knowledge and communication strategies. Your expertise will narrate the journey of resilience and change since the inception of the program, which is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and orchestrated by a consortium of change-makers led by Amref Health Africa, Sonke Gender Justice, and Rutgers.
In partnership with technical allies KIT and CHOICE for Youth and Sexuality, Power to You(th) emphasizes fostering meaningful and inclusive youth participation (MIYP) across the different levels of the decision-making process in our communities. Using gender transformative approaches (GTA), we seek to strengthen youth-led advocacy on critical issues such as female genital mutilation/cutting, sexual and gender-based violence, child marriage, and unintended pregnancy.

Our Objective:
To engage the expertise of consultants in the strategic development of knowledge and communication products, as well as learning management. These products are designed not only to enhance the program’s visibility but also to significantly augment its impact and contribute effectively to internal learning, future fundraising endeavours, elevating external communication efforts, and fostering heightened awareness of Power to You(th) activities across local, regional, and global levels.

Submission Details:
- Electronic Submissions: All proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format to ensure they are easily accessible and reviewable.
- Email Address: Proposals should be sent to [email protected] ONLY
- Subject Line: The subject of the email should read “Proposal for Knowledge & Communication Products Consultancy”.
- Attachments: Proposals should be attached to the email in a clear and organized manner. If multiple documents are necessary, they should be combined into a single PDF file or compressed into a ZIP folder.
- Deadline for Submission: The final date for proposal submission is no later than 10 May 2024. Proposals received after this date may not be considered.
- Evaluation of Proposals: Proposals will be evaluated based on their responsiveness to the scope of work, the feasibility of the proposed methodology, the experience and capability of the consulting team, and the cost-effectiveness of the budget proposal. The evaluation committee may contact the top candidates for interviews or to request additional information before making a final decision.
