United Nations University (UNU) is offering a unique opportunity for qualified individuals to join its team as a Research, Administration, and Business Development Analyst (PSA) at the UNU Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (UNU-INRA) in Accra, Ghana.

Responsibilities

The Research, Administration, and Business Development Analyst will have diverse responsibilities, including:

  • Performing general administrative tasks such as event planning, procurement, and human resources coordination.
  • Providing project management support for research initiatives.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between research and administrative teams.
  • Assisting in proposal development and business development activities.
  • Planning and organizing activities to achieve programmatic goals.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Advanced university degree (master’s) or first-level university degree (bachelor’s) in administration or relevant social sciences.
  • Up to two years of experience (with master’s) or at least four years of experience (with bachelor’s) in administration, research, and business development.
  • Strong administrative, research, and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN official language is an asset.

Remuneration and Contract Details

The successful candidate will be employed under a national PSA contract with an attractive compensation package, including an annual net salary ranging from USD 2,234 to USD 2,390, based on experience and qualifications. The initial contract duration is one year, with the possibility of renewal.
