Women in Global Health is a hybrid organization that has a small core team of paid staff supported by passionate volunteers. We are still a startup in many aspects, yet we have achieved impact on a global scale and now have sector-wide name recognition.
Women in Global Health has catalyzed a global network of national and regional chapters aiming to enable women from around the world to engage at all levels in decision-making, particularly for women that are under-represented in global health leadership, and especially from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Chapter Gender Consultant
The role of the gender consultant is to support the MBT and chapters on gender, feminist leadership, and other relevant issues. The role requires an understanding of the complexities of health leadership, hierarchies, and the global health sector. It has direct responsibility in supporting WGH training, tools development, individual and collective empowerment activities, collective learning, and community of practice activities and events.

Chapter Training Coordinator
This role is specifically aimed at supporting the WGH global learning community, through the chapters, specifically Kenya, Nigeria, and India. As part of a program to drive individual empowerment through collective action, this role helps create conditions in which women can excel in leadership within the health sector.
