Job Purpose
The Program Facilitator, reporting to the Digital Skills for Youth Project Manager, will play a crucial role in directing business incubation and growth strategies for youth-led enterprises. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the project team to ensure effective implementation of Digital Skills for Youth grant activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Coordination and Stakeholder Relations:
- Facilitate youth economic empowerment through the identification, registration, and training of youth in basic, intermediate, and advanced digital skills.
- Develop project incubation hubs into viable business units for sustainability.
- Support the growth and acceleration of existing Youth-Led Enterprises (YLE) and new high-potential YLEs.
- Build an enabling ecosystem for the provision of physical and online business development support services for YLEs. Job Opportunity | 4 Program Facilitators Digital Skills for Youth at Plan International
- Participate in the development of business marketing and communication strategies.
- Strengthen engagement with the private sector, including financial service providers, to develop and offer youth-friendly products and services.
2. Reporting and Administration:
- Ensure project activities align with the work plan and approved budget.
- Adhere to donor compliance issues and Plan procedures.
- Provide the Project Manager with progress reports of district-level activities.

Safeguarding & Gender Equality Mainstreaming:

- Support project associates and local stakeholders in receiving gender and safeguarding training.
- Ensure adherence to Plan’s safeguarding mechanisms during the grant implementation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors: Knowledge:
- A First Degree in Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.
- Additional qualifications and experience in enterprise development, project management, report writing, and social/community development skills will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 3 years of practical experience working with rural/urban communities.
Skills:
- Networking, advocacy, and partnership-building skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare reports, briefing notes, and good communication skills in local languages and English.
