Director of Operations

Full-time, salary position | $70,000 – 90,000 | Remote Position | 30-37.5 Hours/Weekly

The role of the Director of Operations is to work with the Executive Director (ED), Associate Director (AD), Indigenous Climate Action team, and the ICA Executive Steering Committee (ESC) and National Steering Committee (SC) to secure operational excellence.

Director of Communications and Engagement

Full-time, salary position | $80,000 – 90,000 | Remote Position | 30-37.5 Hours/Weekly

This position will assist in building capacity within ICA’s communications, engagement and outreach strategies, including online, distance, and in-person methods. This position reports to the Executive Leadership Team and works closely with the Development, Engagement and Communication Managers and other Directors to plan, evaluate, budget and implement all of ICA’s communication and engagement needs.

Indigenous Environmental Network – Financial Manager

Full-time, salary position | $62,000- $75,000

The Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN) is an alliance of grassroots Indigenous Peoples whose shared mission is to protect the sacredness of Mother Earth from contamination and exploitation by strengthening, maintaining, and respecting traditional teachings and natural laws. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate knowledge of Indigenous cultural lifeways, spirituality and values.

The Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN) is seeking an experienced and energetic Financial Manager. The Financial Manager will play a crucial role in providing financial resource functions for IEN. These functions include accounting, financial management and analysis, budget analysis, benefits and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nonprofit accounting, financial and budget analysis and management, compliance, reporting, budgeting, planning and organizational benefits and risk management. They must have strong written and verbal communication, administrative, organizational skills and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The position will report directly to the Director of Operations and will work closely with the Executive Director, Leadership Team and Financial Manager. The position is a full-time salaried position.

Location: The preference for this position is to be based in Bemidji, Minnesota, however this position has the option to be remote. Occasional travel to IEN’s Headquarters in Bemidji, MN is expected.
