About the Fellowship
Selected experts, known as fellows, will embark on a year-long journey where they gain exclusive access to academic research opportunities, participate in networking events, and engage in annual conferences. The focus is clear: to fortify cybersecurity measures and strategies throughout Commonwealth countries in Africa.

Eligibility Criteria
If you’re a citizen of a Commonwealth country in Africa between the ages of 21 and 65, and you possess a minimum of five years of work experience in cybersecurity fields such as law, policymaking, telecommunications, academia, or related sectors, you are eligible to apply.
Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC, encourages all qualified candidates to seize this opportunity. She underlines the importance of cybersecurity in today’s interconnected world and the need for collaborative efforts to protect the online landscape.
