The University of Birmingham is offering a Global Masters Scholarship for international students starting their Masters’s degree in 2023. The scholarship is designed to provide financial support for international students who demonstrate academic excellence and who wish to study for a full-time Masters’s degree at the University.
Approximately 40 scholarships will be awarded a value of up to £10,000 GBP. This award will be deducted from the total tuition fees owed by each successful scholar. The Global Masters Scholarship is an award of £10,000 to provide support for you to study at the University of Birmingham in 2023/24.

Selected applicants for Global Master Scholarships at Birmingham University will be entitled to the following benefits.

Eligibility Criteria
All taught Masters’ programs are eligible for this scholarship, with the exception of programs in the Birmingham Business School, for which there are separate MSc and MBA scholarships on offer.
In order to be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements. Candidates must:
International students (non-UK/EU) who are classified as overseas for fee purposes. Applicants must have been offered a place in a full-time Masters’ program at the University of Birmingham starting in 2023.
Applicants must have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, a first-class Honours degree or equivalent in their undergraduate program. The scholarship is available for Masters’s programs in any subject offered at the University of Birmingham.
Have received, and accepted, an offer of admission for a taught Masters’s degree at the University of Birmingham UK Campus to study in the 2023/24 academic year. Be classed as ‘domiciled’ in one of the eligible countries.
Be academically exceptional and able to provide evidence for this in the scholarship application statement. Candidates should have, or be expecting to achieve, a first-class overall grade (at least 70% in the UK system) in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

How To Apply For Birmingham University Scholarship In The UK?
This scholarship will be automatically offered to applicants who meet the criteria outlined above.
To accept the scholarship, you will need to formally accept the offer you receive from the University’s Admissions Office, by the deadline stated on your offer. You can do this via the postgraduate portal.
To fully secure the scholarship, you will also be required to pay the standard £2,000 (GBP) admissions deposit by the deadline set by the Admissions Office in your offer letter. (For the purposes of this scholarship selection process, your deposit must be paid by 31 August 23:59 UK time/ GMT+1).
